2008 Marist Solidarity Campaign

Small gestures made by young Australians are underwriting significant changes in the lives of young Marists in the developing countries of our region. The intent of this campaign is to assist our Australian students in developing a relationship of friendship with their counterparts living in our neighbourhood. This is what we mean by Marist Solidarity

Resources

Breaking with our usual launch structure, this year was the first time that Student Leaders were invited to take full responsibility of the Marist Solidarity Campaign. At the NSW and QLD Student Leaders retreat we distributed a package containing a Booklet (as shown on the right), DVD and Posters to be used during the 2008 campaign. The website materials below is to complement the package, providing a soft electronic copy of the campaign resources.

This booklet is a compilation of resources that can be used to promote the 2008 campaign in schools. This booklet contains information about a region and a narrative from a child living in that region. It also contains classroom activities, prayer and liturgy ideas and reflections.
